Wheelchair Distribution

Partnering with Joni & Friends International

  • Purpose: Donate high-quality wheelchairs to individuals affected by poverty and disability. These wheelchairs are also adjusted to fit each recipient through the compassionate care of mechanics and therapists.
  • Size: 100-200 wheelchair recipients, depending on donations.
  • Venue: TBA
  • Cost: The Joni & Friends team provides most of the finances for the project. However, SHIC pays for lodging and other miscellaneous costs for its own staff and volunteers.

Volunteers: 3-5 translator volunteers, depending on the size of the Joni & Friends team.
